Location is the position that something occupies on Earth's surface. Toponym is the name given to a place on Earth. Site is the physical character of a place. Situation is the location of a place relative to other places. Regions are an area of Earth defined by one or more distinctive characteristics. The second learning objective was identify and describe the 5 themes of geography. The 5 themes of geography are location, place, human-environment interaction, movement and region.
