immediate reopening... good or bad
States should not reopen immediately. Although not everyone may agree with this statement it is best for everyone's health and safety. Jeffery Shaman, a leading epidemiologist at Columbia University says, "The math is unfortunately pretty simple. It's not a matter of whether infections will increase but by how much." He is saying that the number of people who get the disease will definitely increase but what they have to figure out is how much will they increase by. Dr. David Relman, a professor of microbiology and immunology at the Standford University of Medicine says, "I'm very concerned that they are making these decisions in a rushed manner, on the basis of hopes and dreams, rather than the cold, hard reality."
